I feel like I’m always talking about my mum (cause she’s super hyper 😂😂) so let me tell you something about my more reserved, HILARIOUS and benevolent daddy today.

When I was a little girl, my daddy took me out on dates. Mr Biggs meat pie had me in a chokehold for some reason so he’d take me out to eat meat pie, drink orange juice (my fave) and buy a new dress or new shoe every other week.
When I was in primary school, he’d have his driver pick me up and bring me to him at work so we’d spend the afternoon together and go home to mummy and the boys.

We’d sit together and watch animal planet, judge Judy or the discovery channel. We had (and still have) OUR things. It was so special! Still is. I was a princess and nobody could tell me otherwise. 😂🤣😂 I definitely dressed like it! 💀😂🤣😂

Now the thing is, my dad was possibly one of the busiest men.. For what seemed like everyyyy other week, he had to be in a new state in Nigeria or a different country for work but even with all that, I knew that we were his priority and all that work was for us. For our comfort and our well being. He made sure to show it. He was very intentional with me as his little girl.

Now I am older and I acknowledge the impact this has made in my life. My dads generosity, integrity, intentionality and hard work is what I grew up watching and subconsciously learning.
I have a great dad and I love him with all of my heart.
