Linda Ejiofor (born Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor; 17 July 1986) is a Nigerian actress, model, and brand influencer from Abia states. she is known for her role as Bimpe Adekoya in M-Net’s TV series Tinsel. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role in the film The Meeting (2012). Tony Ogaga Erhariefe of The Sun Nigeria listed her as one of the ten fastest-rising Nollywood stars of 2013. She gave birth to her first child, a boy.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor was born on July 17, 1986, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She was born into a family of seven and hails from Isuikwuato, Abia State, Nigeria. Linda started her education at Labo Memorial Nursery and Primary School, Surulere. Later on, she moved to Federal Government Girls’ College, Onitsha.

Next, she enrolled in a diploma course in Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, but pulled out after three months due to her father’s disdain for the entertainment industry. Subsequently, she proceeded to the University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State to study Sociology. After, she did her National Youth Service (NYSC) in Jigawa State.

CAREER

Ejiofor initially wanted to work for an advertising agency. In an interview posted in The Nation newspaper, she said she changed her mind about pursuing a career in advertising after developing an interest in acting. She also said she hoped to direct films in the future. In 2018, she starred alongside Jemima Osunde in Ndani TV’s web series

After her university education, Linda started as a part-time Model. Later on, she auditioned for M-Net’s production after much persuasion from a friend. Eventually, she became one of the cast, starring as Bimpe Adekoya in the popular TV series, Tinsel.

Also, in 2012, she made her movie debut in the award-winning movie The Meeting. The movie gave her prominence and brought her to the limelight. Also, she was nominated as the best actress in a supporting role at the Africa Movies Awards, 2013.

She has starred in other movies and TV series including Secret Room (2013), Dowry (2014), Chief Daddy (2018) e.t.c Altogether, Linda has worked with thespians like Rita Dominic, OC Ukeje, Jide Kosoko, Damilola Adegbite, Femi Jacobs, Beverly Naya, Zainab Balogun, Mildred Okwo, e.t.c.

PERSONAL LIFE

Linda Ejiofor married Ibrahim Suleiman, a co-star on Tinsel in November 2018. Linda and Ibrahim had been friends for some years before they finally tied the knot.
