Congratulations are in order again Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s niece, Winifred Akhuemokhan who are presently having their church wedding today, June 17, 2022.
Recall that the couple’s traditional wedding took place in Benin City on Friday, May 20.
The actor took to his Instagram page where he shared a pre-wedding photo and one of his new brides in the traditional Edo outfit.
Well, weeks later, the couple is having their white wedding in the presence of family, a few friends, and colleagues.
The white wedding happened at Christ Embassy church, also known as LoveWorld Incorporated or Believers’ Loveworld.
The wedding was officiated by its founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who is reportedly the bride, Akhuemokhan’s Uncle.
The couple had their first official kiss on their wedding altar, in the presence of their loved ones. Celebrities like Stan Nze and others graced the ceremony.
Recall that Maureen Assisi, Blossom Chukwujekwu’s ex-wife a few months ago, spoke of her failed marriage to the film star in a monologue posted via her Youtube page.
She said that although it was not easy, leaving the 2-year-old marriage “was the best decision ever”.
“Let’s look back two years ago when I left my marriage. I left my marriage penniless broken and penniless. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I have no money in my account. My business had suffered so much,” she narrated.
“And I was broken. I had a friend who felt it in her heart to be there for me. I love her to bits. I moved out of my then home and moved into this place that you all love today.
“It wasn’t easy, I swear. For the first time in my life, s*icide felt like it was the only thing to do. How time flies! Two years later and I will tell you this for a fact. It was the best decision ever.”
