Rita Dominic  Whose real name is Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha  is a Nollywood actress,  Film Producer & Co-founder of The Audrey Silva Company model, and television personality . Rita Dominic was  born on 12th July 1975 in Mbaise,  into a Royal family of Nwaturuocha of Aboh in Mbaise local government area Imo State in the southeastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 47 years old. She is the youngest child in a family of four siblings. Rita Dominic is a member of the Royal family of Waturuocha of Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo State in the southeastern part of Nigeria. Her late parents were medical practitioners. Her late father was a medical doctor while late her mother was a nursing officer

CAREER AND EARLY LIFE 

In 1998, Rita Dominic joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood and acted in her first movie “A Time to Kill” a movie that brought her to the limelight. The movie gave her an advantage in Nollywood and also attracted her to movie directors and producers in Nigeria. In 2004, Rita Dominic won an award for Most Outstanding Actress in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards. Rita Dominic is one of the most accomplished actresses in Nollywood. She stated during an interview that her determination and persistence is the secret to her success in the entertainment industry.

Aside from acting, Rita Dominic is also a producer. She has produced numerous films both in Nigeria and abroad. Rita Dominic is currently married with beautiful kids. FAMILY

The youngest of four children, Rita was born into the Royal Waturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise. Rita started acting in local television dramas at the age of 5 and graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a BA in Theatre Arts *(Acting) before joining the Nigerian film industry in 1998. Rita is best known for her roles in the groundbreaking films “76”, The Meeting, and Shattered for which she won several prestigious awards.

Rita Dominic completed her primary school education in Ikot Ekpene, a small town in Akwa Ibom State in the south southern part of Nigeria, and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, Rita Dominic proceeded to Federal Government College in Ikot Ekpene, a small town in Akwa Ibom State in the south southern part of Nigeria, and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate. Rita proceeded to the prestigious University of Port-Harcourt where she bagged a degree in Theatre Art in 1999
