Ifeanyi Adeleke: How Some Top Celebrities Reacted To The D*ath Of Davido And Chioma’s Son

On Monday night, Nigerian celebrities and others were shocked to learn of the d*ath of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the first son of prominent Nigerian singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, and his girlfriend, Chioma.

it was previously reported that Ifeanyi Adeleke died after drowning in a swimming pool. According to a family source, the three-year-old drowned on Monday, October 31st, in a private swimming pool at the family’s Lagos residence.

Since the rumored death of Ifeanyi became public knowledge, celebrities have expressed their outrage and trauma on their official social media pages.

Following the news of Ifeanyi’s death, some popular celebrities posted cryptic messages on Instagram.

In a cryptic message, popular comedian, Ayo Makun, in an Instagram post early Tuesday, wrote, “The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.”

Daddy Freeze, who went live on Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday morning said, “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.” He later shared an all-black page with sad emojis.

Comedian Lasisi Elenu also posted, “Father heal your children’s hearts from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord”

Comedienne Helen Paul on Instagram expressed sadness over the news. She wrote: ”Painful. Never again. We reject it.  God, Please, restoration and healing.”

Davido and Chioma reportedly lose 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi

Afrobeats sensation David Adedeji Adeleke and his fiancee Chioma Avril Rowland have reportedly lost their 3-year-old son Ifeanyi Adedeji Adeleke Jr.

The sad news broke on Monday night, October 31, 2022, barely weeks after the celebration of the little boy’s 3rd birthday.

According to reports, Ifeanyi died by drowning at Davido’s Banana Island home. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Davido and Chioma had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house where he remains presently.

Following the breaking news, the Celebrity couple’s close associates Daddy Freeze, Eniola Badmus, Beauty Tukura, and others took to their social media platforms to express shock, as they sympathize with the singer and the wife-to-be.

Chioma and Davido had on October 20th took to their platforms to celebrate Ifeanyi’s birthday together.

The following day, a birthday party was hosted at their home in Lagos on the late young boy’s behalf.
