Admiral David Adeleke, aka Davido, and his wife Chioma, a Nigerian award-winning musician, have finally returned to social media after he went MIA following the death of his son Ifeanyi.

David posted photos of himself, his wife Chioma, and his team, which included manager Asika and his lawyer, to alert fans of his upcoming performance at the Qatar World Cup final in 2022.

 

Remember that the singer and his wife have been radio silent and out of the public eye since the death of their son, Ifeanyi, on October 31st.

 

The pair first appeared in public a few weeks ago, at the inauguration of David’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as Governor of Osun State.

David’s performance at the final was earlier announced and is set to go down in a manner of minutes as confirmed by the artistes himself.

David wrote:

Fans, friends, and followers have expressed excitement at the artist’s return to performing.

Recall that Davido had been fingered to perform weeks ago and he’d officially confirmed it moments ago with his first social media post since the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

Davido will be performed the Qatar World Cup anthem ‘Hayya Hayya (Happy Together)’ alongside Trinidad singer Cardona and Qatar singer Aisha.

The artiste’s fans have expressed joy at seeing their favorite perform after being away for so long.

Argentina and France are slugging it out for the prestigious trophy this time around.
