Damilola Adegbite (born Oluwadamilola Adegbite; 18 May 1985) is a Nigerian actress, model, fitness trainer, businesswoman, television personality, And Author. She played Thelema Duke in the soap opera Tinsel, and Kemi Williams in the movie Flower Girl. She won Best Actress in a TV Series at the 2011 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

Damilola Adegbite was born on May 18, 1985, in Surulere, Lagos, into a family of four. Damilola spent her early life in the western part of Nigeria precisely Lagos and Osun states. She had her primary school in Surulere and her secondary education at the prestigious Yaba College, both in Lagos. After obtaining her West African Senior Certificate, she proceeded to Bowen University in Iwo, Osun state, where she obtained a degree in business administration.

She Was Mistaken To Be A Twin With Kehinde Bankole

After Dami rose to the spotlight, there were speculations about her being the twin of another Nigerian actress and model named Kehinde Bankole. The rumors appear to not be true but neither actress has made any statements concerning it. On the other hand, Kehinde Bankole is known to have a twin sister named Taiwo who much is not known about.

The beautiful actress broke into the Nigerian entertainment scene in 2008 and has gone on to star in top Nigerian blockbuster films. She rose to fame after playing the role of Thelma Duke in the popular television soap opera called Tinsel. She also became an admired figure after playing the role of Kemi Williams in the popular movie, Flower Girl.

Since her debut, Adegbite has appeared in several television commercials and hosted programs on television. PERSONAL LIFE

In August 2014, Adegbite got engaged to Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, who she met on the set of the soap opera Tinsel. In September 2014, the couple welcomed a baby boy named Brian. They got married in Accra, Ghana on February 14th, 2015. However, in September 2017, Damilola and Chris divorced citing irreconcilable differences. Their marriage became a trend on social media and created a lot of controversies when Damilola deleted Attoh’s surname from her social media accounts. She unfollowed him on Instagram while also deleting all his photos from her social media account. In September 2017, during an interview with the media, Chris confirmed the end of the union.

According to the actress, her favorite movie is “Desperado,” a 1995 movie that starred Antonio Banderas as the mariachi who seeks revenge on the drug lord who killed his lover. She also says her favorite food is Amala and Ewedu.
