Bianca and Ojukwu Love Story: In 1989, it was revealed that Bianca Onoh was dating former Biafran president and Ikemba of Nnewi Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, a political associate of her father over thirty years her senior. Their controversial romance was a national talking point in the early 1990s, with Odumegwu-Ojukwu revealing immense pressure under the public eye had become increasingly unbearable, causing her to resign as Miss Intercontinental as her main concern was completing her education as a Law student. In 1994, having finally obtained her law degree, she married the former Biafran president in a lavish wedding ceremony held in Abuja.

Bianca Odinakachukwu Olivia Odumegwu-Ojukwu (née Onoh, born 5 August 1968) is a Nigerian politician, diplomat, lawyer, and businesswoman. She is the widow of former Biafra president Chukuemeka Odumegwu OjukwuBianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu is a multiple international pageant titleholder, having won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 1988 and Miss Africa, and is best known as the first African to win Miss Intercontinental. Formerly a presidential advisor, she was the country’s ambassador to Ghana and became Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain in 2012

CAREER AND EARLY LIFE

In December 1988, Odumegwu-Ojukwu, who had previously emerged winner of Miss Martini, was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria but reigned through most of 1989. She also won Miss Africa 1989 pageant held in Gambia before representing her country at both Miss World in Hong Kong and Miss Universe in Mexico. She achieved greater success when she won Miss Intercontinental that same year and was named Miss Congeniality at the now defunct Miss Charm International in Russia where she was also a semi-finalist.

The sixth child of former Anambra governor Christian Onoh and his wife Carol, a college principal, Odumegwu-Ojukwu spent most of her childhood in rural Ngwo with her siblings Lilian, Josephine, Nuzo, Gabriel, Stella, Christian, and Josef. She attended Ackworth School, Pontefract, St Andrews College, Cambridge, and Cambridge Tutorial College where she obtained her A-levels. She soon began a combined honors degree in Politics, Economics, and Law at the University of Buckingham, but transferred to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka after her father, a lawyer by profession, insisted she concentrated solely on Law and join the family business. Following graduation, Odumegwu-Ojukwu attended the Nigerian Law School which eventually led to her call to the bar.

Odumegwu Ojukwu was born on November 4, 1933 in Zungeru, Nigeria. He was married to Bianca Odinaka Onoh, Njideka and Stella Onyeador. He died on November 26, 2011 in London, England.

Bianca Ojukwu’s father’s name is Christian Onoh, popularly known as CC Onoh. Bianca Ojukwu’s father was a former Governor of Anambra state.Bianca Ojukwu’s dad, H.E Christian Chukwuma Onoh Died on 5 May 2009.Bianca Ojukwu’s father, Christian Onoh, popularly known as CC Onoh, Okaa Ome 1 of Ngwo was a businessman and lawyer who became governor of the old Anambra State in 1983 at the end of the Nigerian Second Republic.
He was elected governor of Anambra State in October 1983 on the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) platform, defeating the incumbent Jim Nwobodo of the Nigerian Peoples Party (NPP). The election was marred by widespread intimidation, violence, and vote-rigging. The election was disputed but eventually decided in his favor by the supreme court. Three months after the election, on 31 December 1983, the military assumed control under General Muhammadu Buhari, and Onoh, together with all the other civilian governors, was dismissed.
He continued to agitate for a separate state for his Wawa people, and this was eventually achieved when the military regime headed by General Ibrahim Babangida created Enugu state in 1991.
Christian Onoh died on 5 May 2009 at the age of 82.

After Law School, Odumegwu-Ojukwu briefly practiced the profession before quitting to divide her time between her home, her cosmetics business Bianca Blend and her interior decorating outfit Mirabella. Despite her reservations regarding modeling, Odumegwu-Ojukwu fronted print commercials for her brand. She also established the non-government organization Hope House Trust, centered on rehabilitating juvenile offenders in Enugu.
